  1. Here's a link Dallas Area Hospitals and another one for all of TX that I use, Texas Hospitals and Medical Centers .
  2. We rarely eat there-they're kinda high. I like the burgers, shakes, and fries. They taste similiar to McDonald's to me.
  3. I just looked at the site. I'm not so sure of it. There's no phone number or address, only a email address for contact. Sorry no other advice, I'm on the search too.
  4. I was looking into these but....what exactly is a Croc stop?
  5. i have to agree. although i feel for those who lost their jobs and for the immediate community, i wouldn't send my worst enemy to that hospital. both of my grandparents have been hospitalized and the care was not up to par. we had to transfer to another hospital and write a letter of complaint.
  6. the math 1013 is because they made changes to the core curriculum. at orientation we were told that if you've taken classes at twu before fall 2007 then the math 1013 was not needed, only for the new students to the college entering beginning fall 07.
  7. yes its for the bsn (dallas campus), and thanks.
  8. i would say go ahead and try. i too made some c's when i first started college. i just found out i was accepted for fall 07. i've retaken classes both science and the basic courses, not sure how many but it was plenty. i got my gpa up to a 3.81 with the help of the added .40 they give you. i applied @3 times, so i'd say go ahead if you can afford to do it and have the time. like posted look at what prereq classes you need and find out your gpa using the calculator worksheet link they have.
  9. :w00t: i finally got my acceptance letter after @ 3 tries. so i know how it feels to wait and wait. it's postmarked mar 27th. though i'll be going part time with a baby on the way. good luck to everyone.
  10. i'm not sure about other colleges. i know to some it matters a lot on whether you get accepted but for me i applied and got in without them even having my act scores. i was advised to take the act back in hs instead since i'm not a math person. somehow we ordered them sent and they never showed up so my records (both community college and university) don't have them on there. as for studying, if you're a visual learner then flashcards/notecards are good. if you learn better by listening then maybe ask if you can record the lectures and listen to them. there are so many studying tips in the student threads on here that will help.

aww thanks for the encouraging words. i'm going to have to add that to my favorite quotes. i will read more to do better on the net and come back with a bang. anyways i'll leave this thread alone for what it was intented for (i hate thread jackers) lol. see you in the fall maybe. bye
  12. nothing new to say just wanted to say i agree with what's already been said. being aware of all the pre-reqs you're required to take and pacing yourself in order to make good grades (and learn) is key.
  13. just bumping this:behindpc:

you're welcome. hopefully some more info will come in. i'll bump it. well i didn't get in but i'm going to try once more for fall and this time apply for both locations. i had a 3.8 but didn't do so well on my second try at the net, i shouldn't have taken it over. just curious to know what your scores were if you don't mind?
