Starting this for anyone thinking about applying to Texas Women's University's Nursing program for Spring 2019. Even though it seems like a long time from now it's never too early to start preparing to apply:happy:
Is anyone else prepping for the TEAS or has already taken it?
I got accepted to Dallas! I can hardly believe it. I turned in my acceptance forms already, but I just sent in the one that says Fall 2018 because I didn't open the bottom link before to notice that that was the correct form for Spring 2019. Do you think I should resubmit it with Spring 2019 form?
We should start a Facebook group. That way we all can help out each other if ever we have any questions, and we can get to know each other a little bit more before we start the program. I can't wait to meet y'all! :)
I don't mind creating FB group for TWU Houston Nursing Class of December 2020, but I need atleast 1 friend to add as a member. :)
I got accepted to Houston
With a TWU bump
Nursing core 3.20
Cumulative gpa :3.5
PreREQ gpa: 3.17
TEAS
86%
Reading: 74.5%
Math: 93.8%
Science: 93.6%
English: 75%
Admission Score: 48.97
I was so leary of getting in because I made 2 C's in science courses because I took them while pregnant then post-pregnancy but I made it. All my other classes were A's and a B in stats. For future students who are looking at this thread for answers or current students who didn't get in, please don't give up. I was told based on my scores I would have a slim chance of getting in and look at me. Don't get discouraged. I've been in and out of TWU for the past 5 years JUST to get to this point. It's truly a blessing and if this is your end goal #1 don't doubt yourself because sometimes we are our biggest critics #2 never give up this may not be your time but you have a purpose and a destiny to fulfill. If I haven't learned anything else it is that! Good luck and Congrats to my fellow soon to be classmates!

I got denied. I'm honestly a bit shocked, my admission score was 44 from what i put on the spreadsheet. They're offering me a scholarship if i want to switch my major (Health related) but I'm going to reapply again for Fall. I was trying to see if i got waitlisted but it didn't say. My GPA is a 4.0 and I made an 80 on TEAS. No TWU bump. Guess it wasn't my time yet lol but I won't give up!!
What was your score?
