TWU Spring 2020 Hopefuls?

Hey! I'm applying to TWU for Spring of 2020. It's super early, but apps are due this Summer. Anyone else applying? I'm super nervous and I'd love to hear what everyone is doing to prepare for the TEAS! Also if anyone knows how many points are considered competitive let me know!

Because I know people will ask/are curious, I was accepted to the Houston campus with a 50 admissions score according to the sheet.

Goodluck to everyone, I got denied, but I saw that coming since my TEAS wasn’t so great.

Oh no! What was your score? I know from looking at last springs thread some people were sent an acceptance later on as others denied their acceptance! I know my friend is going to UH so that should be a spot that opens up!

No worries! I'm very excited for you all. Even though I got accepted to Wharton Sugarland it still stings to know i got denied but God opens the right doors for us. Plus, it will work out better for my kids and my finances. Best wishes to you all ?

I applied to Dallas and got accepted with a 56.48

After these past few months, I've had a heart to heart with myself and determined my heart doesn't belong to nursing anymore. So, be on the lookout if you didn't get accepted because I'll be turning mine down. Congrats to everyone who was accepted and if you weren't, just keep going! I believe in all of y'all!

Thanks! I am finishing up a program to become a teacher. I will hopefully be a high school science teacher by the time the next school year starts. I've a lways really wanted to make an impact in the lives of kids (which is why I originally went with nursing) but now I know that teaching is what my skills are more suited for and where I'll make the impact that I want to.
