TWU Spring 2020 Hopefuls?

Updated:   Published

Hey! I'm applying to TWU for Spring of 2020. It's super early, but apps are due this Summer. Anyone else applying? I'm super nervous and I'd love to hear what everyone is doing to prepare for the TEAS! Also if anyone knows how many points are considered competitive let me know!

Fall 2019 applicants have just known their results! I'm so nervous since from what I have heard, it is really competitive for those who apply to Houston in Spring...

I'm nervous as well for applying to the Dallas Location, but you got this! are you applying to other schools or is TWU your # 1?

Hey everyone I did not get in to the Dallas Tradition for Fall 2019.. with that being said does anyone know how the new teas scoring will work? I heard we can take the composite score possibly?

I will be applying if I do not get into UT Cizik for Fall. I have completed everything except for Chem lab, so once I am done with the class and find out about UT, I will apply. But I really hope to get into UT since I don't want to wait anymore. Been pursuing this for so long that I am just ready to dive in. Good luck to everyone. ?

I plan to apply to Cizik for their Spring. I’m from Dallas but it is my first choice.

Many tips for that school?

Besides what they tell you on their website as requirements, I do not. I wish I did. Based on previous threads, some people who have met all of their criteria/ requirements did not get in to the term they applied for. I am not sure how exactly they select people. Some get in on their first try and some apply more than once and still not accepted. Hope I do not sound super negative, just telling you what I know. I am still very hopeful and eager to get accepted.

HELLO!

I’m also applying for Spring 2020 Dallas Campus ? ! Just need to take my TEAS exam. Any tips???

Hey I am reapplying for the Spring 2020 semester! I applied for the fall but didn’t make it in, I’m planning to retake a class to boost my grade a bit and I’ve already taken the TEAS and got a 90%. Best advice for TEAS is to order the practice book online that is made specifically by ATI. It is a red, white, and gray book. It tells you all you need to know and has practice questions. I took the test 2 times and scored better when I actually studied and used that book for studying. Also I noticed some of my questions were the same as the first time I took the test, but not all. Best of luck to all of you!

Awesome!!! I hope we get in ? I am having a hard time with the anatomy I took it the first time and scored a 76 on that area what do you suggest to study for mainly from what you remember?

I applied to the traditional program and my points only came up to a 48.2 because I had a C in one of my classes. So I’m going to retake that this summer then reapply. If I replace that C with an A my points sky rocket

Yeah that will help your points a lot! I applied to Dallas Traditional with 52 points and I didnt get in either.

Hi future nurses! I applied to fall 2019 traditional but didn’t get in. I had 53 points. I’m planning on retaking my TEAS and hopefully that will help get me in this time. I wonder what the cut-off was?
