Hello everyone,
Are you applying to Houston, Dallas traditional, or Dallas N&W? I am applying to TWU Dallas traditional in August for Spring 2021. Right now I am finishing up some nursing core classes and I plan on taking the TEAS over the Summer if corona virus allows it. I also have TWU preference points that helped my admission score a lot.
What is your admission score? As of Spring 2020 admissions, to calculate your admission score, you can use the Google spread sheet. Download the file to put in your classes and grades.

My advisor said that the competitive range is between 50 and 55 for Dallas traditional.

I'm no expert by any means! Just relaying what my advisor told me when I asked about that portion of the application(:

oh man! The anticipation is a killer.
Hey Learyn! She’s right. Given the number of nursing schools in the Houston area, sometimes the Houston class doesn’t fill. Also, since the point cutoff for Houston tends to be around 44 for Houston and 55 for Dallas, qualified applicants from Dallas are offered spots in Houston to fill all the seats. It’s important to keep in mind that not all who apply to nursing school will meet the admissions cutoff or consider TWU to be their first choice.

I had some major transcript delays to NursingCas because of out-of-state schools "working from home", but I haven't even received a rejection letter yet for them not being in on time. So maybe they haven't even looked at my application yet...
Hi,
Exam same thing happened to me. Major delay of my transcript to NursingCAS. But once NursingCAS got my transcript, the process was pretty fast. They verified it and then I just got my eligibility letter today. So hopefully everything will go smoothly for you.

Admission Score 52.7.
I applied to Houston. Do ya'll think I will get in? The anticipation is absolutely eating me alive.
Based on your admission score, yes. The advisors told a peer of mine that the usual score cutoff for Houston is 44, so you should have no problem.

Good Luck everyone!
Yay! I’m hoping this means we hear something next Monday? I applied for Dallas though - hopefully both campuses are on track to send decisions at the same time. Good luck to everyone!

I applied for Dallas as well! I am very anxious right now. Hopefully we will find out soon!

Oh wow! I thought they were behind with the applications. I assumed we were going to hear from them like towards the end of November.

Thank you! Did you receive your eligibility letter through regular mail or email?
