TWU Spring 2014 Applicants

Hey everyone. I just wanted to start a thread for all of those hoping to get into TWU starting Spring 2014. My name is Kia and I have already sent in my application and completed my TEAS V exam. I'll be in the Denton campus patho class this fall (trying to wait patiently for an acceptance letter-GOD willing).

Just a fyi, i emailed my immunization stuff & they send you an email lettinh you know they recieve it. I personally don't like faxing because You never know if they recieved it or if it got lost, bad experiences faxing, so that's an easy option. Plus its free.

Is it like that automated message? Or does someone actually reply to you to let you know they've received it?

Right after I sent it I received an automated message, the next day someone from immunization sent me an email.

Yea are you talking about the fingerprint? I scheduled to go in tommorow.. for people that haven't made the appointment, you should do it now. It was all booked so I had to pick a place really far from me..

I still waiting for the email about the background check, has anyone from Houston received them yet? The last email I received was about CPR classes.

I received mine on Tuesday the 26th. The subject of the email was Fast Pass.

By any chance did you already do one for the board of nursing? Of you did you dont need to do it again. If not i would call to find out why you didn't get one.

Yes, I did- I didn't think that they checked if we had done the background check before they emailed us; i figured they would just send out a blanket email to all of us... One last thing that I have to get done now, thanks nani3!
