TWU Spring 2014 Applicants

Published

Hey everyone. I just wanted to start a thread for all of those hoping to get into TWU starting Spring 2014. My name is Kia and I have already sent in my application and completed my TEAS V exam. I'll be in the Denton campus patho class this fall (trying to wait patiently for an acceptance letter-GOD willing).

@H4nursing,, if those really are ur stats u should be very high up in the wait list. i also had a 3.86, 3/4, and i got an 88 and i made it in...lucky for u, i think im more than likely not accepting this semester so i think ull definitely get in.

Not sure why it isn't pulling up - I will set it to "open" vs "closed" for the next few weeks. Let me know it that helps!

I still can't find the group.. Is there a way you can send an invite?! My username is my full name! Thank you!

Hey guys,

for those of you who made in, have you guys looked into the two forms they send to you? I am not sure if we need to submit a complete legible set of fingerprints? Anyone who has begin this process can you give me some input? The form is pretty confusing.. I am not sure if I just sign it and send back to them.

Thanks in advance

Hi guys,

Those who are on the waiting list, call the Denton admissions office. They will transfer the call to an advisor, and she's able to help you out from there. She actually gives you what # you are on the waiting list.

Did you get an email saying that you're on the waiting list?

How do you know if you are on the waiting list vs rejected? Did people on the wait list receive an email saying so?

If you're still looking for the Dallas facebook group, make sure you type: groups called "twu nursing class of fall 2015" exactly. Otherwise, it will keep bringing up other groups instead.

Sign the acceptance form and the form acknowledging that you know the policies regarding clinicals. Fax, mail, or deliver those in person before 5 pm on Monday.

I think we're just supposed to sign the forms and email/fax/deliver in person by the due date. I don't see the part where it's talking about fingerprints, but we're pretty much only supposed to bring a valid ID to orientation

Congrats to everyone who got accepted :)

i hope so, thanks a lot, i got an email sent to me on oct,16th, but it was an annual notification email, i guess i should call admission office to ask if i were on the waiting list! (sign)

@ butterflyprincessh: thank you, TWU is my only choice, i hope i could get in. :)
