Hey guys! I wanted to start a forum for us twu spring 2012 hopefuls!

About me

I have a 3.2, yikes! :sofahider, and after this summer it should come up to a 3.6 or 7 and I am studying my butt off for the teas and will only have 3 more classes after that to take. I have gotten into the university as the first step, but I am so worried about getting into the nursing program, fingers crossed

Once again congrajultions to you all who are joining twu spring 2012 class. Does anyone know about the stuff we need to buy like scrubs, stestscope, shoes color???. If someone could just share information bout these things???

@Amy, we were suppose to reply by today whether we were going to accept or deny so you should prob find out tomorrow for second round.

@ Tina, I think we find all of that out at orientation but I believe there is a post a few pages back where someone has copied and pasted from a current student of what to expect.

Don;t freak out just becuz u dnt have shots.... the second email (for Dallas campus) says u need to provide documentation of getting the shots to them. Chk with the health department.

Hi! I'm accepted to Texas Woman's University (TWU) in Houston and I wanted to invite anyone who got accepted for this Spring 2012 to a facebook group. Its called "TWU Nursing Houston: Spring 2012!", it's really for our convenience to help each other during school. Congrats, and good luck to anyone still waiting for their news! :)

PS. I tried finding the other facebook group circulating, but couldn't find it?!? thats why i had to go and make one.

Hey guys...just a reminder about the FB group...we are technically students now not applicants so our facebook group should be for the class of 2013 not 2012...there is already a group established for those graduating 2012 and may confuse those trying to add themselves to our group. Yay..we're students!!!!

Are second rounds going out today? I did not hear anything so I hope I do this round.

I am in a community college program already but it would be nice to get into TWU. There wouldn't be any second guessing on acceptance, it's a great program.

May I ask what CC program? I was going to apply at COM too but decided I wanted to take an all or nothing approach.. it worked but I know had I not been accepted by TWU I'd have regretted not applying for an ADN as back up.
