Can you (or anyone else) share your gpa and other stats? I am looking to start applying for graduate school (specifically FNP) but nervous because of my undergrad gpa... Thank you
Sure- BS Biology (from 2006) RN-ADN in 2010 and BSN in May 2014. I worked in ICU from May 2010 to Aug 2013 and ED until Sept 2014 (I resigned to be with my kids and focus on school) my overall GPA is merely a 3.27 but my nursing gpa is 3.56 (my last 36 hours of BSN courses was 4.0) and my overall science is 3.4. GRE Quant 156 (56%) Qual 152 (52%) anal writing 3.0 (15%)(yyyuuucckkkkk!!!!) I think what helped me personally were the 2 scholarship accolades, 4 clinical awards, and I received the highest award given at my nursing school graduation. I was a class officer and in the nursing school honor society. I had excellent references as well. They really look at the whole package. As you can see from my example, it's more than just the numbers as I'm an average applicant as far as GPA and GRE goes, but I get a boost from my integrity and experience :) good luck in your applications!
Did anyone tried to do online orientation. the link i have does not open.
