TWU - Houston - Fall 2012

Hey guys! I don't know what happened to the last thread but I wanted to create a new one! Anyone out there applying for Fall 2012 to the Houston campus? I'm super excited and have all my stuff taken care of minus my Fall 2011 transcripts! I wish everyone the best of luck and hope we all get in!

I clicked on all the links on the WebAdvisor page and it shows a nice goose-egg "0". Although before it wouldn't even generate a report so I think it has been updated. Wow not exactly what I hoped for ... student loans here I come! lol

Really? Maybe they just haven't completely updated it yet. I just saw mine today..then again I wasn't checking the site everyday. I logged into my pioneer portal, clicked on webadvisor, then logged in again from there, and clicked applicants. Then clicked on "accept or reject my financial aid awards" under the "financial aid" area. And that's where I found it.

But for the scholarship site, they still say 'pending' or 'applied for' so I hope I still get those! Maybe we won't know about those until we know if we're accepted or not.

Congratulations on the aid! I'm happy for you, every little bit helps! I was thinking the same thing on updating so we will see!

Is there a separate form I need to fill out from Texas Woman's website in order to receive financial aid?? I turned in my fafsa through their website but have not heard from any of the schools that I have applied to.

So I read on the TWU Fall 2012 Weekend & Traditional pages that the Dallas location would be hearing this Friday whether or not they were accepted. I hope that's true for Houston too!

I know my stomach did a complete cartwheel when I read that! I sure hope so ... I hope I never again have to wait to hear back about an application process. I have no nails left, no fattening food left in the house, and I seriously have some grey hair that I never had before. Come on TWU!

haha I know I'm getting really anxious..this past week has been a month long..not to mention I'm dying to hear something about the scholarships as well.

Does anyone know how long you have to wait to get the second Hep B shot after the first one? I still haven't had my first one.. :uhoh21:

@scrubb - the second shot comes 1 month after the first one and the third shot is about 4-6 months after that. There is a fast track shot program which only requires 2 shots and is done in like 2 months I think. Montgomery County Public Health gives the shots for $10 btw. But you can't have insurance. Although I don't know if they verify if you do have insurance. I don't so I got it done. Before I found them I was paying $90 per shot.
