TWU FNP Fall 2023

Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone applies for Fall 2023 FNP program at TWU. I am still waiting to hear back from the Admission office since my status said "awaiting department review". I just want to form a group so we can share our journey and help each other in the future. I appreciate your input!

I don't think TWU offers PMHNP programs.This group is for FNP program and we haven't started the program yet so we are not sure ? but I heard good things about TWU from my coworkers compared to UTA.

I believe they consider the total average GPA. Also, before applying, I asked him if he believed I had a chance in the program based on my stats, and he said of course, otherwise he wouldn't urge me to apply. So, as long as you "pass" his interview, I believe you have a shot. I know the waiting game sucks though!

UPDATE: I got into UTAs program and I'm accepting. Still haven't heard back from TWU and I applied to them first smh

I got my TWU acceptance on Friday but it was from a random email so it went to spam. Anthony Wang called me today and told me about it. I also started UTA today but now will have to drop it and lose some money as TWU is faster, cheaper, and better turnout. Check y'all's spam!!

Did your status change on web advisor or it still says "ready to review"?

When did you apply?  I hadn't heard anyone get accepted since mid April.

I just checked my email from Anthony and it's a generic email about it not being too late to apply. I applied months ago.

congratulations! Did you get accepted for the Fall? would you like to form a study group ? im not sure which platforms we should use nowadays ?

Yes for the fall! Yes for a study group LOL. Let me get the paperwork sorted for both programs and I'll get back to you!
