TWU FNP Fall 2023

Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone applies for Fall 2023 FNP program at TWU. I am still waiting to hear back from the Admission office since my status said "awaiting department review". I just want to form a group so we can share our journey and help each other in the future. I appreciate your input! 

When I spoke to one of the program coordinators in May he said the Online FNP Fall 2023 cohort was full and no longer accepting applications. Has anyone else heard this? The application is still open online so I'm glad I spoke to him before applying.

I was told the same about 2-3 weeks ago by the advisor of the program. That is was full and no longer accepting applications

Did you apply anyways in hopes a spot would open or did you just move on to the Spring 2024 cohort?

I spoke to a coordinator a couple of weeks ago and he never told me that it was full. I also applied to TWU FNP program but haven't heard back from them yet.

I'm not sure if he meant the actual cohort was full or if they just reached the cut off for the # of applications they accept. He could've just meant they reached they max for submissions and are now sorting through all applications submitted before that cut off. He was very thorough though so if you fell in that category he definitely would've mentioned it to you. I'm sure there's no need to worry. I do wish they'd take the application down though because it marks the due date at July and that's waste of money for a lot of people.

I applied back in April and am still waiting to hear a decision. The advisor called last week and told me they are sorting through applications and he would check back at the end of the month if I still haven't heard anything. He never mentioned that seats are full.

Then I don't think he meant seats were full I just think he meant they're no longer accepting applications. Which makes sense, most schools have a cut off to make it easier on the admissions committee. Typically 2-3x the # of actual spots.

I was told that I'd have a decision around mid July. I applied June 1st. I also applied to the acute care program

I haven't heard back yet and I applied at the end on April! They are the most unorganized school I have ever applied to! I asked 3 months ago to have my name changed in the system because I applied years ago for my BSN and they still haven't done anything about it! Anytime I login it calls me "duplicate" and they still haven't fixed it. I've already accepted my seat in another program because they have taken so long!
