Texas Woman's University (TWU) Fall 2024

Published

Hey there everyone,

Noticed no one made a topic for the twu fall 2024 cohort applications yet so I thought I would do it. Maybe it's just too early, but Im itching to get started! Has anyone already taken TEAS and finished all prerequisites? I'm nervous because I'm transferring in with no previous bachelors so I have no preference.

there was so much information on the ~ 20 slide powerpoint. they went over free services they offer, vaccine requirements, estimated tuition costs, scholarships, clinical placements, reviewed the prereqs/upper division curriculum, and I got to tour different areas of the houston campus. I would email and ask them for the powerpoint (I believe I read you applied to houston). I think I am going to do the same. from what I remember concerning the TEAS score, an 85% and above is considered competitive. if you submit it onto nursing cas and it shows more than 2 attempts, they contact you to verify it was only 2 for that cycle.

over 500 for both campuses combined. they want to fill 120 slots at each campus (denton, dallas, and houston).

Wow, if you don't mind, which campus was the open house you attended?

Tell me why the sent me a email saying I was ineligible because I took the TEAS test 104 days apart and to send them another pdf? this school is lowkey making me mad

I thought you only can take them twice per app cycle. What's the 104 days apart mean?

I have a TEAS test from like 100 days apart because it was from a different admission cycle. I took 2 this admission cycle so my TEAS pdf I turn in on nursingcas says I have taken 3, it just doesn't say when.

That I took it twice during one app cycle. The first time I took it was in June and I waited after my prerequisites to take it again in September. I am most definitely eligible someone just wasn't looking at the dates. Will be calling tomorrow.

But the thing is mine does say it?. Someone just wasn't looking at the dates correctly.

Also I took TEAS 6 wayy back in 2022 so that's what they are referring too but it shows them that on my transcript.

Oh wow. Yes you need to call them tomorrow

I was about to call them until they sent a email saying thank you for sending it we will continue processing your application ?

Okay they figured it out then. Okay good.

500 applications is frightening. Knowing 120 spots are available in each campus is even more. That's limits me to Dallas campus only.

Anyone have a plan b in place? Especially those trying to get in the evening/weekend program? ?

I learnt from an advisor that they usually admit usually 100-150 students
