I've decided to go ahead and start this thread for those who are in the process of applying for the HIGHLY COMPETITIVE nursing program at TWU (FALL 2017) Feel free to share your STATS, questions, and good vibes as we're all here to get accepted!
I'm personally interested in the Night/weekend program since I already have a bachelor's degree and I just finished my TWU application (since TWU requires you submit a "new student" application first, then the Nursing application) I am planning on submitting my nursing application right after I hear back..
I also have not yet taken my TEAS, but am in the process of studying for it to take in a couple weeks!
not sure exactly what my stats were but i had 83 overall on TEAS and about 3.7 nursing core with no prior BA and no TWU bump.
I'm kind of sad because waiting to reapply will suck but i'm definitely going to raise that nursing core to a 4.0 and make sure my TEAS are at least low to mid 90s next time around. I knew it was going to be very competitive and i considered re-taking my TEAS after getting an 83 but was afraid it wouldn't be higher. oh well! you live and learn and know i know better and I'm better prepared for the next go around.
