Hi all,
I've decided to go ahead and start this thread for those who are in the process of applying for the HIGHLY COMPETITIVE nursing program at TWU (FALL 2017) Feel free to share your STATS, questions, and good vibes as we're all here to get accepted!
I'm personally interested in the Night/weekend program since I already have a bachelor's degree and I just finished my TWU application (since TWU requires you submit a "new student" application first, then the Nursing application) I am planning on submitting my nursing application right after I hear back..
I also have not yet taken my TEAS, but am in the process of studying for it to take in a couple weeks!
How's everyone else doing?
I've imagined waiting until the first day we wear scrubs or our ceremony that announces we begin nursing school (I've heard some schools do white coat ceremonies- not sure if TWU does) and taking a picture/posting until then. It would make it even more official!
...but then I don't know if I can wait that long. I'll decide tonight once I know if I'm in or not!
I plan on calling my twin sister first to let her know because she is my inspiration and she is a pediatric trauma nurse. Then I'll let my daughter know and then the rest of the family.
I'm in Greenville, SC on a work trip right now so if I get in I'll be celebrating with co-workers tonight.

if you wait that long you have the patience of a saint. I'm doing the typical Facebook reveal after I blow up my parents phone with 1,000 calls.
In the spring most people said in their posts they received their emails shortly after 4PM like at 4:09PM. Gotta remember they won't send out at 5PM just in case there are problems with sending out emails that way they are there to troubleshoot. But in the past it is usually shortly after 4PM.
That's what I couldn't figure out since it doesn't show the timestamp on posts older than 24 hours. Thanks!!!

My hubby is out of town so I'm by myself with our daughter. He said for me to get a bottle of champagne, shake it up, open it and spray myself and the backyard. Our daughter will film it and we will send it to him! LOL.
