TWU Fall 2011 Hopefuls

Hello! Just wanted to start a thread for those applying to the college of Nursing at Texas Woman's University. Who already goes there? What do you have left to take? Are you nervous... etc!

My name is Alli, I will start at TWU, not the nursing program, this summer. Moving to Denton with my husband. I can't wait!

When I applied for Twu last semester, I had the same problem as you do. You have to complete nursing core curriculum and have a posted grade in your portal account before the deadline.

Got my acceptance e-mail late yesterday. They ARE getting started....keep those eyes open come the 21st....

Oh, and yes, I'm IN!!!! WOOOOT!!!!!:o:eek::yeah::rolleyes: :idea: :clown: :nurse:

How'd you get your acceptance letter already? On the BSN Applicatn checklist it says the letters don't go out till April or even mid April? Or did you apply to another program besides the traditional track? Anyway, CONGRATS!

Tiki, CONGRATS! I applied to UTMB's traditional track program and haven't heard back yet, haha. Did you apply to the traditional track?

Hey guys,

Just found this posting and im in the same boat as everyone else it seems. I applied to Houston and had a 85 on my TEAS V with a 3.7 GPA. Im extremely nervous but feel like I have a good chance after reading what has been accepted in the years past. Has anyone thought about living arrangments if they are accepted?
