Hello Everyone,
I have been looking to see if someone would make a forum for us that are applying for the fall 2021 Texas Woman's University nursing program. Since I have not found one I decided to make one. So let's get this forum started! Are you applying to Houston or Dallas? Have you taken your TEAS and if so what was your score? If you have any questions or any information you would like to share please do! I am applying to Dallas and I have yet to take the TEAS.
Hey guys I’m planning on applying for fall 2021 at the Houston center. I have a dumb question LOL, after submitting the ApplyTexas application for TWU in general, what is it we need to mail, if anything? Our transcripts? Or is that done on NursingCAS? I feel like I’m late to the whole application process.

send transcript to TWU and nursingcas. If they need more info, they (TWU) will email you what they needs.
Hello everyone!
I plan to apply to the Fall 21' traditional program at the Dallas campus. I'm a transfer student with a 4.0 GPA - taking my TEAS at the end of the month! I know the traditional program at the Dallas campus is the hardest one to get into - especially as a transfer. Based on the admission point system, I've seen that mid-'50s & up is what's considered competitive. Does anyone know if this is still true?
Anyone else applying for the traditional program at Dallas? Best of luck to us all!!
Hi guys! Just to help you guys gauge admissions for the Fall I got accepted into Houston Spring 2021 with:
No degree or TWU student boost
3.7 Core GPA
3.8 Nursing Science GPA
83% TEAS
My admissions score was about a 42
I was waitlisted and then accepted. I absolutely did not think I would get accepted because of my low TEAS score but I believe because of the pandemic the admission scores went down this year!

Do you happen to know what the cutoff admission score was for Houston?

I'm also applying for the traditional program at Dallas too! Your GPA is great! good luck on the TEAS!! Based on past threads I noticed it does seem mid 50s and up is competitive. On the twu nursing website they have a document that has instructions to fill out their admission point spreadsheet and on there it mentions that 48 and above is considered competitive for the Dallas location, but it most likely varies with each applicant pool and considering how competitive the program is mid 50s probably sounds about right.

Your GPA and TEAS score both is what gets calculated into your admission score. So basically your admission score is made up of your GPA and TEAS score. You can also calculate it for yourself using their spreadsheet that they have on their website, I think that's the same spreadsheet that they use for admission decisions.
