Hello Everyone,
I have been looking to see if someone would make a forum for us that are applying for the fall 2021 Texas Woman's University nursing program. Since I have not found one I decided to make one. So let's get this forum started! Are you applying to Houston or Dallas? Have you taken your TEAS and if so what was your score? If you have any questions or any information you would like to share please do! I am applying to Dallas and I have yet to take the TEAS.
Hey. I'm applying to the Fall 2021 N&W program. Just curious, have you all heard if the applicant pool for Spring 2021 was greater than previous years? I'm wondering how COVID will impact applications. I spoke with an advisor in August and he said they had already received more applicants than in previous years. The program is already so competitive! I'm hoping to get in for Fall because I know the application process is going to change and I'm dreading needing additional classes, more volunteer work, etc.

What do you mean when you say the application process is going to change?
From what I know, N&W applicant pool is not always the same. There may be a high volume this year, but low volume the next year. I spoke to an Advisor on Dec 2nd, he told me that generally 40-ish is good for N&W program. However, he is not so sure since the program has fluctuated volume of applicants. In the past, I heard that TW only care about GPA and TEAS. Do they change the application process with more consideration in experience and volunteer?
btw, I also applying for N&W. I read from pre. semester forum. seem like a high 40 is good to go.

Thanks. I was just curious to know if they look at everything, such your GPA and TEAS score along with your admission score, or just your admission score only when deciding.

Hi, I know this was not directed towards me, but I also took the TEAS this past weekend. I studied 3 days in advance using the ATI Study Manual on the ATI website (It was 25 dollars). It was a great resource and it helped me get an 86.7 overall. However, there were a lot of errors in the book so just beware that there may be some second-guessing.
