TWU Fall 2021 Applicants

Hello Everyone,

I have been looking to see if someone would make a forum for us that are applying for the fall 2021 Texas Woman's University nursing program. Since I have not found one I decided to make one. So let's get this forum started! Are you applying to Houston or Dallas? Have you taken your TEAS and if so what was your score? If you have any questions or any information you would like to share please do! I am applying to Dallas and I have yet to take the TEAS.

What is the passing score for a course at TWU nursing program? I looked it up online, it said 72% exam ave. Is it still true?

Yes, it is. All your exams have to average a 72% BEFORE factoring in any other assignments.

Hey guys so I just turned in my application yesterday, do y’all know how long it takes to get verified?

I was verified pretty quickly - at least I believe I was verified. All of my transcripts show the CAS grade along with the grade I entered

Mine was verified within 3 days of me submitting my application.

Dropping my stats here based off of the excel sheet! I'm applying to TWU Houston and I wish the best for all of you guys as well!! not looking forward to this waiting game ahh

Nursing core GPA: 3.6

Pre-req GPA: 3.54

TEAS Composite Score: 92.0

Reading: 85.1 

Math: 100

Science: 91.5

English: 91.7

Admission Score: 49.43

Admission score: 61.70 (Based on the Excel Sheet)

You will not receive anything for weeks and decisions will be out mid-late April. 
 

it has only been 3 days since the application closed

It usually takes a couple of weeks after the application deadline before they start sending out eligibility emails. Considering that it has only been 3 days since the deadline, I doubt anyone has heard anything this soon.
