Hello Everyone,
I have been looking to see if someone would make a forum for us that are applying for the fall 2021 Texas Woman's University nursing program. Since I have not found one I decided to make one. So let's get this forum started! Are you applying to Houston or Dallas? Have you taken your TEAS and if so what was your score? If you have any questions or any information you would like to share please do! I am applying to Dallas and I have yet to take the TEAS.
Last Spring we got the eligibility letter and then the decisions took a while. Even the DON for Houston said mid April, and the advisors are saying that as well.
Spring was delayed and I anticipate us being the same due to only having 3 advisors go through all of the applications and it is a manual process to calculate everything ?

What happened to your last Spring application, how did it go?
My TEAS wasn’t as high as I needed it to be to get the coveted 44 points to be safe, I had 38
So I retook a B I had in stats and that brought me to 41 with my old TEAS scores and I retook my TEAS and came up to a good spot

Yes this is true
dallas tends to have extra points because students more than likely have TWU preference from attending Denton campus so that puts them at the 50+ range
Houston typically only has extra points if you have a prior bachelor or for some reason a Denton student with preference wants to come to Houston campus
We are the last class that will be based on science GPA and TEAS scores

Keep the faith..
Did you get eligible or ineligible email then?
So eligibility is just letting you know if you are eligible based on completed the science classes your TEAS score meeting the minimum
I was eligible then, but in the end was declined due to my points being lower than I needed

Where did you apply to Dallas or Houston? Also, what was your admission score?

And when I say “anything” that is referring to the eligibility email.
