Hey there. I plan on applying to TWUs N&W program in February for the Fall 2020 start. I just took my TEAS test today, my score was:
Overall: 85.3%
Reading: 87.2%
Math: 96.9%
Science: 74.5%
English: 83.3%
I'm not happy with my science score, but I also haven't taken A&P II or Chemistry yet, just A&P I. I plan on retaking the TEAS in December.
I have a 3.85 science core GPA (one B in A&P I) and 3.81 prereq GPA. that gives me a 45.56 admission score, which probably won't cut it. I can't retake A&P I in time, so my only hope is a higher TEAS score.
Who else is applying for Fall 2020? Are you applying to Houston, Dallas Traditional, or Dallas N&W?

When I asked about admissions decisions the person I talked to said by the end of the week is when second wave of admissions emails would be sent out. But I also have no heard anything /:

Same! I got my eligibility email a few months ago and nothing has been in my inbox or spam recently. I spoke to a lady in admissions after I didn't receive anything last week and she told me there would be another wave this week. I knew previously that all decisions had been sent out at once, so I was confused and concerned when I never got anything!

Remember there is alot going on for TWU with all of this covid stuff, patience is a virtue! Even so, in the past you should at least have heard an acceptance/denial by now, I've never heard of people not getting anything, everyone's emails usually went out together. Make sure you check all your spam folders, double check you put the right email on your nursingcas application and make sure you got an email from TWU previously stating whether or not you were eligible for admission consideration!
They said they are doing it different this year and they are doing waves. A lot of people said it’s weird but they said it’s also new to them too!! Maybe because of COVOID-19

Yeah I was confused too because people that I’ve talked to that got in said admissions went out all at once.
I'm assuming with the recent world events going on right now it’s easier for the staff to send out in waves.
They did something different last semester from what they've done in the past, they started admitting Dallas applicants to Houston when they didn't have a score high enough for Dallas, not sure if they'll do that again this year or not! That might be why they're mentioning "second wave" acceptance but I'm not sure.
