TWU Fall 2020 Applicants

Hey there. I plan on applying to TWUs N&W program in February for the Fall 2020 start. I just took my TEAS test today, my score was:

Overall: 85.3%

Reading: 87.2%

Math: 96.9%

Science: 74.5%

English: 83.3%

I'm not happy with my science score, but I also haven't taken A&P II or Chemistry yet, just A&P I. I plan on retaking the TEAS in December.

I have a 3.85 science core GPA (one B in A&P I) and 3.81 prereq GPA. that gives me a 45.56 admission score, which probably won't cut it. I can't retake A&P I in time, so my only hope is a higher TEAS score.

Who else is applying for Fall 2020? Are you applying to Houston, Dallas Traditional, or Dallas N&W?

Yeah... it looks like last year acceptances went out late March so hopefully we'll hear something at least in April?

I just went through the Fall 2019 thread, and they found out on March 29th at 6pm! That was the last Friday of the month, so for us that would be March 27th. I applied to UTMB as well (found out I was accepted today!), and they require you to accept/decline by April 3rd. This is making waiting for TWU even more nerve racking!

Same with me!! I got accepted to UTMB today but waiting to hear from TWU! If you’ve filled out the TWU admission spreadsheet, what is your admission score? (If you don’t mind sharing).

My admission score is 53.63! I have a previous bachelors degree, so I received the 8 point bump.

I have emailed the senior secretary in the college of nursing about the probability of getting the admission process delayed because of coronavirus virus and she replied that as far as she knows it will not.

So fingers crossed. Let us hope we will hear by this month end.
