TWU Fall 2020 Applicants

Hey there. I plan on applying to TWUs N&W program in February for the Fall 2020 start. I just took my TEAS test today, my score was:

Overall: 85.3%

Reading: 87.2%

Math: 96.9%

Science: 74.5%

English: 83.3%

I'm not happy with my science score, but I also haven't taken A&P II or Chemistry yet, just A&P I. I plan on retaking the TEAS in December.

I have a 3.85 science core GPA (one B in A&P I) and 3.81 prereq GPA. that gives me a 45.56 admission score, which probably won't cut it. I can't retake A&P I in time, so my only hope is a higher TEAS score.

Who else is applying for Fall 2020? Are you applying to Houston, Dallas Traditional, or Dallas N&W?

Crossing my fingers it won't take until May to get results like Fall 2019!

I thought they got their results in Mid-April?

I just went back to their message board and looked. They got their emails on 3/29 at 6pm. Definitely not May.

That said, I know they lost an advisor a couple weeks ago and someone else involved in this process also left, so I'm not expecting anything until the beginning of April.

which advisor is lost ? Is it from Denton Campus or Dallas Campus ? Who is the other one left ?

Ah, maybe it was from a different cycle. One advisor and the secretary told me they once gave results in May.

That’s crazy, specially considering that there is a mandatory orientation on May 5th for everyone who was accepted I believe (could be wrong)

I know Leah is no longer there and I was told someone a bit higher up left or moved department recently as well, although I don't remember his name.

No! Not Leah! She was so helpful and kind. She really helped with my application and gave me a good amount of hope. Now I feel the panic!
