TWU Dallas fall 2009 - Accepted

Hello everyone,

I wanted to start a forum for the accpeted students into the TWU Dallas nursing program.

With orientation a month away, I thought it would be nice to get to know those we are going to be working next to for the following 2 years.

So if you want to get to meet some really nice people, I hope that you post here.

Hey I accidentally threw away my letter about orientation for Dallas on the 5th. Where is it at and what time?

it is on May 8th, at 8:30am. location is Dallas/Parkland Campus room 215

Hello. I just kind of stumbled on this website and this forum. I am starting TWU's nursing program in Dallas in the Fall as well and am in group 12. I wasn't able to make it to orientation. How do you know which hospital your clinicals will be at? Is it directly related to your group number or did they tell everyone individually at orientation? Thanks.

Your hospital is listed on your schedule. It will be under concepts. Your whole group will be at the same hospital. Congratulations on being accepted. It was a long day at orientation but very interesting.

Hello everyone,

Congrats on your acceptance into a great nursing program! I'm writing in your thread in hopes to get an insight on the application process. I'm currently trying to decide which book to purchase for taking the HESI A2 exam and was hoping to get a few recommendations. Are there any particular that I should definitely take a look at? Your help is greatly appreciated. I will be applying to TWU this coming Fall for admittance into the Spring 2010 class. I have to take my HESI A2 before July 15th and was wanting to get started on studying for the exam, any helpful tips would be great from the newly accepted class of TWU!!!

Any tips that could increase my chances of acceptance for Spring 2010 is also greatly appreciated.

pj2076--We all took the NET test. We're the last NET class, so probably few, if any, of us took the HESI.

I'm in Group 6, doing clinicals at Zale this semester.

Anyone else taking Pathophys this summer? I'm trying to get some info on how best to study for it, but I haven't gotten much response. Either no one is very forthcoming with information or not many have lived to tell! :cry:
