I haven't received any info about an interview!! Feeling discouraged that @eaglehdz_21 has heard (congrats by the way!!) and I haven't! Has anyone else heard?

Hey! Just found this feed. I am a bit relieved I'm not the only one waiting on an interview call. Sounds like we are waiting on an email? I called Lisa early this week and she said something like, "I've handed off all completed applications to the decision board. They're in and out of town right now and will hopefully be contacting for interviews soon." Promise to post as soon as I hear something! Blessings to all of you!!!!

Hi all sorry for the late response. I submitted my application very early... back In early June so that might be why I got a call early on. As far as my stats

Gre 300 writing 4.0 (very average nothing special)

Gpa 3.8

Certs: ccrn, tncc, pals, acls,

Experience: 3 years in generial icu from a relatively small trauma 3 center.

Awesome! Congrats! I thought for a sec you were talking about getting a call from TWU. Thanks for sharing stats! TWU is the only school I've applied to (so far).

Hey all! I have been stalking this thread religiously so I thought I would post! I have applied to the program, finished my entire application August 1st. So I have literally been waiting to get that special interview email since then! Been emailing Lisa Graham a lot, too...squeaky wheel gets the grease, right?

Stats:

CVICU/ICU nurse for 9 years (7 in adult CVICU/ICU, 2 years in pediatric/neonatal CV)

GRE 304 combined, writing 3.0

GPA cumulative 3.5 (per Lisa Graham)

CCRN (adult), CVRN-BC

I constantly worry if I need to do more or if I am "good enough" for this program. Anyone else feel this way? But man, do I want this. It's time. First time applying, and I've only applied to TWU.

This is the only school I've applied to, too. Thanks for sharing, Tiff. It's easy to forget this acceptance/rejection has nothing to do with WHO WE ARE! Ya know?

I got a 303 GRE with a 4.0 writing. I don't know my GPA cumulative, but I did email Lisa to ask. Is that how you got that info? I'm somewhere around 3.65? Will update if I get that info. 7+ years ICU (currently 2 years in at a level one Surgical Trauma ICU). CCRN.

Again, SO relieved I'm not alone in waiting! I was sure that phone calls were already started, but sounds like they haven't. Maybe this week :)

Yes, I emailed Lisa to get my cumulative GPA.

Also, I JUST heard from a former colleague who is finishing up the program at TWU that they are transitioning a new secretary right now. So that may slow things down a little! Perfect timing, eh?

Hopefully this is the week that some of us will start hearing something. Thankfully I signed up for overtime this week and that will hopefully keep me from thinking about it too much.

I called TWU this morning and they said that the committee hasn't started reviewing the apps yet and no interviews have been sent out (this is what she said but I know eagle got an interview so now I'm worried about my status because I gave her my name and maybe she just didn't want to make me feel about not getting an interview) but she said they won't be going out for a few more weeks...
