In my life, I have earned two BS degrees and a License as a drug and alcohol counselor. I have signed up for an LPN course. Of course, to get into the LPN course, I have to pass the TEAS. As far as I know, the TEAS is similar to high school final exams. I thought that I was good with grammar and reading, yet my practice tests only result in an average of 67% (except math 85% +). Does anyone have any tips on how to improve these grades aside my TEAS study guide? I am scheduled to take the TEAS in 8 days.

The TEAS is a puta madre. I had to take it three times to get the math I needed. The first time I bombed it I asked the school I was applying to what they recommended for a study guide. They gave me the name of an app for my phone and it was clutch. I'm sorry to say I don't have it anymore and can't recall it.
I just checked my phone app store and I think. . . . THINK. . . it was the ATI TEAS practice test. Whatever app I used was way better than stuff I found online. I got a 54 the first time I took the math part and a 93 the last time.
Look for the phone app and get a good 8 hours sleep the night before. You got this!
Thank you. I do have the TEAS Study Guide. The practice tests have helped but I am getting nervous about taking it. It also causes me to doubt my ability to do the LPN course altogther.
I'm in an RN program right now. Barely got in with my mighty 3.2 gpa yet now I have a 95% in Nursing fundamentals and pharmacology. The pre-reqs and entry tests aren't the best predictor of how you will do in the nurse program nor how good a nurse you will be.
Thank you. BUT a 3.2 is not bad!!! :)
