How do you like it? I am in Rockwall, applying for Fall 2009.

Like everything, it has it's good and bad points. It is pretty easy to get in the program and an ok pass rate. I have heard of other programs that half the people fail. According to my calculations about 15% of the class has been dropped from the program so far. The students seem to be well respected in the hospital.

I just discovered TVCC actually had a program. I added up my points and they will be 8. I have a college degree an a 3.5 GPA overall. How many guys are in your class?

Out of 140 students, I would say there are 10 or so guys, maybe a little more. The semester I started people got in with 9 points and above, but every year it could change. Just depends on how many people apply of course. Good luck!

For the Fall 09 class TVCC's ADN program didn't even make it out of the 10s. I barely squeaked by with a 10 because my GPA was on the high end of the scale.

Squeakin' by got you in...lol. Everyone I talked to before I applied had 10 points. It's hard to get even that, but I think that's the avg of what people apply with.

I was able to get into the program, thank goodness! Had 10 pts. and 3.0 GPA.
