Does anyone here know of a tutor I could get to help me pass NCLEX. I have failed this several times and I NEED to pass this thing and the board suggested a tutor. I called my school and no one was willing to help me. I would appreciate it if any of you all would be of help to me. Thanks.

Are you studying for the RN NCLEX or the LPN NCLEX?

I am studying for the RN.

I had the same problem with passing the test! I couldn't afford a tutor and all those online NCLEX courses to pass the test. I had to finally just start studying differently than what I was doing. I had so many books I was studying from, tooo much information! I learned from Allnurses (yes, right here) all I needed was one book to study from (SAUNDERS) and learned later that LaCharity was also an Awesome delegation book to have. I studied from those 2 books (ONLY) and finally was successful on passing my test. Also, I had called my school for help and no one could help me, they were just sending me around in circles  Stay on Allnurses, go to the throw facts around link (very helpful) get away from negativity, don't tell no one the date you are taking your test at home are they will just keep bugging and bugging you about the test being passed, doing these things helped me be successful with the test. You can do this blynn9173, keep your head up! :)

Thanks Nurse Lil-lea. I am studying hard just hoping to pass this time. I am using Lacharity, and Davis Q & A. Just keep me in your prayers. Thanks again!

hi nurseLil-lea, what kind of saunders did you have?

hey i'll try my best to give you tips even my records are still on hold, any way the way i see nclex is this. For disease and meds they are easy to breakdown the answers because most of the questions are the MOST CARDNIAL SIGN FOR DISEASE and Adverse effect for meds....and if its side effect its more easier because you wud look for usually nause and vomiting... now for the HARDEST and most IMPORTANT which is delegating, prioritizing and INFECTION control now this is where 2 or more answers comes up in the question some of them are really close. Now if you are used to answering questions from saunders or some other review you will eventually get used to it. so my point is for DISEASE AND MEDS UNDERSTAND AND EVENTUALLY YOU WILL MEMORIZE IT BY HEART...and then for the rest You just have to do ALOT of question and reading and understanding the rationale not memorizing it, i hope these helps..
