Hello All-
I will be attending Drexel University's accelerated nursing program in 2013. I have a BS in Dietetics from the University of Delaware.
I plan to stay in the NJ/PA area after graduation. Has anyone heard of any hospitals in NJ/PA giving any tuition reimbursement in exchange for years of service? Or any sort of tuition assistance?
I am researching any and all ways to pay for the program. I've read about the dept of health's tuition reimbursement program. I have to verify that accelerated programs fall within their requirements.
Thank you!!

Almost none with the exception of a few employers for their current employees upgrading their education. But you must be a current employee, work for a minimum period of time before qualifying for the the program and the tuition reimbursement ranges from $500-$2000 or so per semester depending on the number of credits, major, and your employment status.
Thank you. I read about options such as those on a few hospital websites. Now its time to research those private loans! :/

When I worked at Saint Clare's Hospital they paid for my tuition. They offered this as soon as I started working for them. There are also sometimes smaller organizations or surgicenters that offer this.
