Tweety that sounds like a fairly minor error

Ado probably was just very thin

Stars I hope you hear from the rehab place soon

NJ22 had a similar day at work

Dianah glad the weather was nice and practice went well

Work would have been quite slow but for a newer case that required several calls and a bunch of emails and a  lot of research.  Hoping things will be smoother and less busy with this case once things get settled a bit

After work was the usual exercise, knitting, and Star Trek.  My 2nd scarf looks to  be better than my 1st

Should be a fairly ordinary day today.  Felt a bit down as the day started but feel better now

Will be a bit warmer, in the low 40s today

Good morning!

Joe, hope you have a good day and things settle down.

Dianah, while the rain seems to be causing some havoc it's good that some of the drought conditions are easing up.  Hope you sleep better.  Yes, somehow the medical plan changed to drop the cleanings but I never noticed, nor did I notice a decrease in payments.  They are scheduled to be seen in March and I'll talk to the vet to see if she wants them to have dental cleanings or not.  This breed really needs them in my opinion.

Stars, has it really been since 2017 you moved in with Nannie?

Ado, I'm sure you're glad it's a boy cat and not a pregnant female.

J22, hope the glasses feel better.  I hate when they hurt your nose like that.

Bowling was fun last night but we didn't do too good.  Going to see a movie later today and yoga this morning.  Need to do some housework and get to the grocery store as well.

Have a great day.

Good morning. The sun is out and that always raises my mood. Both coworkers are out of the office for Epic training, so it is q****. I don't have to do the training, because, ha, ha, I will be retired when it goes live! By my count, I have 19 shifts left to work.

I spent a lot of time yesterday looking up a couple of potential TB patients, that turned out to be false alarms. Oh, well.

The pictures of flooding in California are crazy. Yes, replenishing aquifers and snowpack so important, though. I haven't heard how we are doing in that regard.

Dianah, I like the way you describe Mr. Stars' doc: optimistic. My mind wants to think of him as oblivious.

My glasses are much better. They charged me $10 for the adjustment because I didn't get them there, but it's well worth it.  I've worn corrective lenses most of my life, and I know what works.

Good Afternoon~

It is sunny and 57 today.

I was looking on-line at all the flooding everywhere on the West Coast. My brother in California says he and his wife are in a place that is safe...."for now"...and have not had to deal with all the destruction that's going on elsewhere.

Nannie is talking in her sleep over there in her recliner. She got herself up this morning; I'm wondering if she has any absorbent feminine products on under those pants she's wearing?

Yeah, the doc doesn't feel real comfortable with treating alcoholics for detox. He has conversed with other docs about the what and how of things. Even he says he isn't totally comfortable treating hubby;  he is trying to get hubby in with a doctor whose practice deals with rehab. He's also trying to give hubby the benefit of the doubt, but does say hubby would be better off with a structured environment. Maybe there's a waiting list for detox/rehab patients to enter programs? Maybe they are understaffed and overworked like everyone else. Whooooo knows?

He is having trouble with his smart-phone...maybe affected by the night out in the rain over at Mickey-D's? He can call me but I can't hear him at all. I can call him and do get through, but with other #'s (people on his contacts list.) it is also very iffy. I'm not sure if the techs can fix it or if he'll need to get yet another phone. I know the company always tells me I am ready for an upgrade if I want it, but I don't want it. Not sure that offer extends to hubby. It's my name on the bill.

I found my lost cache of turtleneck jerseys. I kept saying to myself, I KNOW I had more than these four I rotate wearing. If everybody here would just leave me alone, I could get a lot more done. The upstairs bedrooms look like an F-5, (well, maybe an F-3) has gone through them. Ain't nobody else but me who will end up doing the major sorting out of stuff. I'd rather do that than search all Nannie's paperwork and statements, deed, car title, etc, etc, etc. Right now, today, I feel like what falls out of a cows rear-end, and can't summon spit to get up and get going with ANYTHING.

Everyone repeat loudly with me: OH WELL!

In the above post by me, I should, I meant to say, after the sentence about me feeling like what comes out of a cow's behind..."Just call me Patty!" (as in cow-patties)

a-yuk-yuk-HA!

No Stars, well that explains Mr. Stars' MD's reluctance to advance ETOH treatment.

With the rain today, I probably will stay indoors,  Sheesh, our gas bill almost doubled from last month's!!  Rate increases...  SMH

I found a former schoolmate/roommate, and wrote an email to her.  She responded, and it's so nice to hear from her again!

Hope you have a good day!

Good afternoon, everyone!

Tweety, I'll bet the provider was OK with that patient getting clonazepam a couple hours early since it helped her rest and keep her O2 on.

dianah, that sounds like a nice Sunday afternoon. It is good to see the lakes and reservoirs filling, but too bad it also comes with serious side effects.

Joe, I'm glad you and J got out to the theater, even if it was a little disappointing.

Had a rough night (fever, chills, arm pain) from the vaccine. Then had a filling replaced today (an old amalgam filling that was shattered).

Yesterday afternoon I got a phone call from the police because Gma was found lying in someone's yard the next block over. Hubs says she was in the living room when he went out to the garage and when he came back in she wasn't, but he assumed (you know what they say about assuming) that she had gone into the bathroom or her bedroom. He fixed lunch and went to get her for lunch and couldn't find her. About that time, I called him with the news that she was on her way home in the back of an ambulance. She was fine, maybe a bit sore. She probably tired out and tried to sit but fell over.

The guys wanted to watch Puss in Boots: The Last Wish so we did that either Saturday or Sunday night.

It is 70 today and has been sunny but clouds and cold are moving in. Thursday and Friday the high will be about 50. Workmen are burning brush in the area near the hospital where they are working on/around a retention pond. So it smells like a campfire in here. It's not a bad smell but it was alarming to smell smoke until I found out what it was.
