Tweety that's good that you found a cheaper policy

Stars glad that he still wants to go even if he wants to drag things out

NJ22 it is annoying when you have to deal with someone like that

Hi Dianah

Ado I hope you have a better day today, hard dealing with both grumpy and mentally ill people

Was feeling a bit stressed about work, as there was stuff left over from Friday and was on a long call with IT trying to get a program working.  But it all came together and I did manage to get everything done.  As long as no technical issues come up again today should be calmer

Got a text from my sister that the get together my cousin was planning for next weekend has been postponed.  Not sure if it's necessary, given that we have a family reunion in June

Trying to do more yoga in the morning, instead of mostly meditation.  Yoga can be a form of meditation so I can essentially do both

Going out to dinner with the church group tonight, haven't done that since October

Will only get up to 12 degrees today, was -1 last night.  Will gradually warm during the week

Good morning!

Joe, again with the theme "I was so stressed out but in the end managed to get things done".  Just sayin'. But sometimes we can't help but stress over situations.

Routine day off again today.  It's "mop the floors Tuesday" which I skipped last week for some reason and it's really dirty, although I did sweep throughout the week.  Going to do some meal prep and go to yoga.  Meeting best friend later for a movie.  They still have $5 movie Tuesday at AMC theaters.

Have a great day.

((((((((((((((((( Ado ))))))))))))))))))  I hope today is better for ALL in your house.

Joe, at least the reunion is planned for June, and you can see family members then.  Good that you all continue getting together.  Stay warm!

Tweety, enjoy your movie!  Wow, $5 movies is GOOD!  Congrats on your bowling wins!

(((((((((((((((( No Stars )))))))))))))

Yesterday was a lazy day for me.  I did start going over articles for CEUs.  We made reservations to go camping in the local mountains in June.  We discussed going up to Grass Valley in June, for the annual Father's Day Bluegrass Festival, but decided to stay local this year and not spend the money for gas in the RV to drive 500 miles each way to a festival!  We do enjoy camping locally.  And, we have three other bluegrass festivals we plan on attending during the year.  Those three should take care of that itch!

Tomorrow will meet friends (camping and bluegrass friends) for lunch, just to chat and catch up.

It rained on and off the last two days but is clear today and there is no rain forecast for the next two weeks.  Temps will be in the low 60's.

Have a good day!

Thanks, dianah, I needed that ?

Hubs still wasn't speaking to me this morning. When he did, he said that I don't give a sh*t about him. Oh, well.

Work is good. I thought the weather might keep some folks home from the ER, but it doesn't seem to have had much effect. While driving this morning, rain started to fall, big drops that froze immediately when they hit the windshield. It will be fun to clean off the car this evening (the car that doesn't warm up).

Joe, it's nice that your family still gets together. I remember large family reunions on my dad's side. Each Summer they'd get a picnic pavilion at Springlake amusement park in OKC. Mom's family didn't do that, but we did have one in 2000 in Sulphur, OK. And once had all my mom's sisters and brother come for a weekend, with most of the (by then) adult kids and some grandkids. In 2004, they all went to South Dakota for my mom's oldest sister's 80th birthday but I didn't get to go because that was when stepson had his first bout of psychosis so Hubs went to Florida to deal with that. Now all my aunts and uncles are gone.

Aw, Annie, that's tough that your hubs is dumping on you. He sounds depressed. I hope he can get some insight and take some positive steps, like placing gma. I've told my kids not to feel guilty about placing me if the need arises.
we awoke to a blanket of snow this morning. Just an inch or so, temp right around 32, no wind, so at least it's not icy. I had a very pleasant run. I'm supposed to go through some storage totes to get rid of Christmas stuff. No problem!
No $5 movies around here! All we have are Regal, and when ever I look lately, I don't see anything I care to pay to watch.
The price of gas certainly is a deciding factor when traveling. We are planning a trip to the Oregon Coast and Crater Lake with dd and the grands. They want to see more national parks.
Stay warm, Joe. -1, yikes

ADO- Let's open a Home For Crabby, Irritable Husbands!

Well, another day gone...Had to take hubby for his 1 PM shave and a haircut. Then had to drive him over to the Verizon store as he had a broken otterbox (protection for the smartphone, like a bumper)  and a cracked screen. ($90!) Then I stopped and got Nannie a dinner from the restaurant we used to get supper from, but it started closing at 3 PM due to Covid and not enough wait-staff. But at 2:35 I was able to order her a plate.

When we got back Nannie was zonked out in her recliner. I tried to wake her up 3-4-5 times, and she'd awaken and take a small bite of her food and then fall asleep again. I finally took the tray away, wrapped the plate with clear-wrap, and stuck it in the fridge. She remains zonky, but that's fine by me.

I tried to find out about one of those Inogen portable 02 thingies....ONLY $2,000.00! YIKES! And they MIGHT last 1+1/2 to 2 hrs on a charge, same as the small tanks run. I have to call the rehab place and ask if he can bring his large 02 concentrator. (May not be able to!) In which case, Plan B, sort-of-MAYBE, which is the local, DUBIOUS alcohol rehab and I'm not even sure it has residential services. ARGH! But he'll have to have 02 available, where ever he ends up going. This is getting worrisome.I know the rehab we thought of him going to first does have a sliding scale, but we won't know ANY costs until we go there, which is a P-I-A, especially if it ends up being a useless trip.

Right now he is sitting out in the Ford, listening to NPR and talking on the phone. He has not been drinking as much this last week, thank goodness.

I have to do something to get my mind off this crap for the time being. Later, guys!
