Trouble with the California Board of RN, need advice or opinion

Published

Hey everyone,

I am lost and don't know what to do at this point. I was hoping some of you guys can give me some help or possibly been through what I am going through at this moment.

I recently graduated with my BSN. My school helped me with the application and I didn't think much of it. I focus everything in passing my last term and months pass by because I was told the application process was being delayed. I finally got a letter by mail saying the board denied me.

A background of my past and I don't know what I was thinking of the time and it was stupid. I am paying the price right now and it is just depressing. Both times are petty theft I committed one back in Feb 2011 and another Aug 2012. Both times I did my community service and done. I definitely learned my lesson especially after this. I ashamed everyone around and don't want to repeat that ever again.

I really appreciate people helps

I think you need to contact a lawyer and see if you can get this expunged.

Per our TOS, we can not give legal advice. You will need to talk to an attorney.

You can find lawyers with experience in nursing issues and dealing with BONs here: http://taana.org/

Best of luck.
