Trinitas School of Nursing (TSON)

Published

Hello, I currently attend TSON and I see alot of mix reviews about the school everyone has there own individual experience and opinion. I just want anyone who views this site to know that there is nothing in life you can't do nor accomplish I am a senior and if I can survive Trinitas so far you can too. Nursing is hard yes and it will challenge you but if you are sincere about the profession go for it. And stay positive and be around positive people and things. Good luck to all on this rollercoaster journey to become a nurse but we will survive!

That's awesome. I always read reviews and usually see people saying how bad a school or professor is but I always like to prove people wrong by going anyway and experiencing things myself. Like you said we are all different. If you walk in there with a nasty attitude hoping for thing to be handed to you, you will definitely have a bad experience.

I was wondering if you can tell me what requirements you had to meet to get into the RN program.

Hi,

I know this post is a little old, but I though I would try anyway. I am about to apply to the Spring 2019 program. I'm a little nervous because I read so many conflicting things about this school. Are you still there? What do you think now?

Also, was there a wait list?

thanks!

Im going to apply for the spring also even though I have a transfer gpa that counts as 0 so that's a huge disadvantage. I talk to a few people about Trinitas and I hear it is a really good school. I went to the info session I loved the whole thing the environment everything seems great.

I believe there is no wait list.

I don't know anything who has actually graduated from there.

Hi,

Sorry for delayed reply. I was at their info session last night and just sent in my application today. Hoping for the best as I also have a zero gpa with them due to being a transfer student. How did you do on the TEAS? I got a 70 overall which is not great but my gpa is otherwise a 3.8 and they only require a 50 on the TEAS so we will see.

Also, I agree with you -- I thought it was a nice environment and I liked that the school was not huge. Did you send in your app yet?

did anyone get accepted as a transfer student?

I attended UCC there were pre reqs like Bio, Chemistry, Pshyc, English you had to do if yiu log on to Trinitas School of Nursing the full curriculum is there but I strongly suggest you complete all your required courses before entering the program because there are some courses you can take with the nursing courses but I strongly suggest take everything you need then apply to program best of luck!

Hello I graduated last year from as far as I know there is no waiting list but now they incorporated the Teas exam that they want you to have a decent score not quite sure the score you need but log on to Trinitas School of Nursing everything you need to know about the score and requirements are there best of luck!

Do you recommend this program? I am applying for spring 2020. It is a little expensive compared to other county schools

Hello you do have more of an advantage to getting into program if you attend classes at UCC that I have seen however I know of students who transfer from other schools to UCC but Trinitas takes general education tranfer credits they do not take nursing curriculum credits from other institutions. I graduated last year things can change but if you log onto Trinitas School of nursing website everything you need to know is there best of luck!
