Based on the $12,000 cost alone (taken from the flier on their website) I'd advise you to look elsewhere. It has cost me less than half of that total to complete an ADN RN program at Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland, and I've taken roughly 20 credit hours of extra courses on top of those that I was required to take because I felt like taking them. For all I know Tri-Rivers might be a wonderful LPN school, but when the same education can be had for a fraction of the cost (I'm guessing around $2500 to $3000 at a state funded community college) it doesn't make much sense to go to a school where the cost is 4 to 5 times as much.

This program had a few issues, which have been addressed. You might want to visit the Ohio Board of Nursing's website and look at their 2009 consent agreement with the OBN, which can be found under the "education program" tab. Their NCLEX scores are stellar.

I am a graduate of the Knox County Career Center practical nursing program I'm pretty sure it's set up just like tri rivers & the NCLEX pass rate is 99% the cost is high too I think it depends on what your looking for cost effective or what?!

I agree with the other comments. I sent in application and fee understanding that I would be mailed and information packet on the classes I will be taking. The school will not answer me for over 2weeks. The financial aid office is suggesting my application is missing information and will not give me Financial report. I am not sure if the LPN program Transfers into the RN program yet..Looks like I am out $95.oo. For this much trouble this early on..looks like I am out. I will post if anything changes.
