Tri-C Nursing program - Spring 2012

U.S.A. Ohio

Hello.

I am starting the generic RN nursing program for Tri-C in Spring 2012. I am taking my classes at the WEstshore campus. I am looking to meet any other students that will be starting their RN program in spring 2012 and/or at the westshore campus. Thanks :)

Hi,

I am a second year Psychology Major at the Tri-C West Campus. I joined this site today while looking into the possibility of switching majors. I have though about nursing :nurse: for a long time now. Can you tell me if you happen to know how long the waiting list is for the nursing program you are starting and if they have weekend or evening classes? I just recently went back to work FT at University Hospital and can't go to school during the day or FT anymore. :crying2:

Thanks for your feedback,

Yeah they have evening/weekend programs. Even then you'd probably have to cut back on your hours worked.

Hello,

I will be starting spring 2012 eastern campus. Can't wait:)

Hello, it looks like I will be starting Spring 2012 at Eastern as well. I look forward to getting to know some of my future classmates before we actually start. It might make the transition a little less painful. I have been at Western campus taking my pre-req's and I will still be there through Fall 2011. If anyone is at Western and is starting Eastern in Spring, maybe we can meet this fall before we start. I am so excited. I have been praying to get in in the Spring and not have to wait till Fall 2012.

Just a quick suggestion. I started a FB Group for Tri-c Nursing students starting Spring 2012. Please come and join. Thanks

taking bio chem at westshore then hoping to get my app in i am currently an lpn. want to get more info about online classes though.

I'll be starting this upcoming Spring as well at the Eastern Campus doing the day program. I was originally scheduled to start this Fall at the Eastern Campus for the Evening/Weekends program but saw they offered the days in the Spring and switched to that instead. Definitely looking forward to getting started finally as it seems it's been forever since I even applied to the program.

Hey RoxanneBB I was trying to find your group on FB but I couldn't :(

I am registered for the Fall 2012 class. I want to get my CPR done in the spring at Tri C. They have 2 different classes. Std First Aid/Personal Safety and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. Does anyone know of the 2 which is the one I should take or that meets the requirement?

Thanks!

You need either American Heart Association Certification BLS for Healthcare Providers, or American Red Cross Certification CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Health Care Providers. I don't think the class offered at Tri-C meet the requirements.
