So, at 50 y/o, I find myself at a crossroads in my career. With no children at home anymore, I am wanting to get into travel nursing. I have not traveled since 2006 (after Hurricane Katrina). All I can say is "WOW!!" So many assignments, unbelievable pay and end of contract bonus?? HELP! How do you know who to trust? What is actually a realistic expectation of a contract? How are you travelers finding a place to stay?? SO MANY QUESTIONS...... any advice, recommendations etc, ?? Good, bad or helpful or not, I'd love some feedback.
Thanks in Advance

travelnursingcentral.com was critical for me when I traveled. It has a plethora of information and many honest reviews of travel agencies and hospitals.

I am in the same spot, have looked at Aya, triage nurse, American traveler and have my application submitted for a hospital in West Virginia with Medical Solutions. I feel like the reviews are not helpful due to recruiters are so varied in helpfulness and experience. I am only going to travel for a year or two and then part time case mgr at the beach remotely somewhere. If anyone has recommendations on a travel nurse company let me know.
