Anyone heard of them? I've just started my search for a travel company and this one was first on my list of sites. Would appreciate any info.
Thanks

Hi! I also am new to travel nursing & have done lots of research on different agencies. I came upon Travel Nurse Across America through a thread on this sight. After reviewing & comparing they were still top on my list. I filled out the on-line apps & was contacted by a recruiter w/in 24 hours. My recruiter has been very helpful & we keep in touch often. Within a week and a half of making contact my recruiter had already scouted out some potiental hospitals in the area I am hoping to work. I've already gone through the interviewing process. This is only my first experience, but so far I feel as if my needs are being taken care of. I hope this helps. I know that there are so many agencies out there your head starts to spin after a while. Good luck!

I did one assignment with this company..really liked them, but they just didn't have the number of assignments that others do. Their health insurance was also a bit poor...had something like a $20,000 yearly cap (pray you don't get sick!). Their pay was a tad bit on the low side compared to other companies, too... On the good note, they always went to bat for me, and checked in often to make sure all was going well. They put me in an Extended Stay hotel since my contract was only for 8 weeks...was okay, but just cramped and noisy for a night shift worker.
Hope this helps..
Thanks everyone!
I'm new to this travel nurse thing and I'm feeling a little bit overwhelmed. I appreciate the input!

I hadbeen promised a contract in another state with anotheragency (per diem) and when I arrived the agency did not have a contract for me. I went online and travel Nurse across America found me a job immediately and surpassed all of my expectations. Ask for Derrick King He is a wonderful recruiter. Tell him Mary from Florida told you to get in touch with him!

I have just completed my first assignment with my agency and am starting another in two days. I have been very pleased so far- good pay, nice luxury apt building, w/ washer/dryer, TV, furniture, dishes, linens, etc.
My agency deals mostly with dialysis. Anyone can feel free to pm me if they want to know more.
