Hi Everybody! Just wanted to say hello to all. I was born out west, in Montana, lived in the west for about 25 years, but I have been living in the south for about 15 years now. I live around atlanta. I started my nursing career as a nursing assistant, then continued on as an LPN. I was an LPN for about 10 years, finally went back and got my ADN. I have been an RN four about Five years now, but I have been in and out of practice, for various reasons, we have moved a couple of times. I had three babies in three years, and then, we lost our oldest daughter after a auto accident two years ago. I thought I might find some advice and information here to help me get myself back together personally and professionally, so I can return to the world I love.
I am ready to return nursing, the problem for me is, I don't really no where to begin.....I was a PICU Nurse for two years, I was an ICU nurse for 2 years....off and on....(not long enough to stand alone)so where to begin...and then....where do you find an employer willing to give you a chance with a spotty past, due to life circumstances...
ho hummmmmm

I think as long as you explain and be honest with the employer, everything will turn out ok! good luck! :wink2:
