Transfering VA nursing license to NY????

Hello,

I'm about to start nursing school this Fall at a local community college with the hopes of moving to New York after I graduate. I lived in NYC for a year 2 years ago and left because I was unable to afford school there as well as an apartment. But I loved living there. Anyways I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about transfering from VA to NY. I heard you have to have some kinda high score to get a RN license in NY and I was just wondering what the procedure is to obtain a NY license if you have one from a different state??
