Training on Dialysis

I want to attend a training program on dialysis treatments.

Where can I train?

Which one offers the best training?

How much is the program fee?

How long is the training?

I've been looking on the website of National Kidney and Transplant Institute but can't find any info about it. If you can refer training centers and their contact numbers, I would highly appreciate them.

the 90 days training sometimes stretches up to 5 months, so it helps if you call them once in a while so they know you are still available and interested in the training.

can you tell me the requirements needed for this training..=) thank you very much...=)

PRC, IVT, BLS, ACLS (preferred), 6 months hospital exp (new DOH POLICY, i dont know if this is already in effect.),

Most of all, the right attitude and motivation to go thru the training.

tnx for the reply it really helps a lot,=) based on what you've said i have all the requirements needed except from the 6 mos. hosp. exp. i hope and pray this one is not in effect already...=) i went there this morning and i just passed my resume they just told me to call them once in a while to follow up my application... can i ask another question? do i need to undergo some exams and interview to finally be one of the trainee there? tnx godbless hoping for your reply..=)

Depnds on the branch. NSPI-west dialysis and nephro center fairview dont have interviews and exams. But nephro center caloocan has. What you need to prepare for after the training is the RENAP accreditation exam to be a certified renal nurse.

hi.. i just want to know what happened to your application as a trainee in nephro system phil. inc. in mandaluyong... have you started your training there? i also just already passed my resume this september.. i just want to know what happen to your application because its been already 5 months since you posted your post here.. tnx hoping for your reply..=)

No they don't. But there is an examination after the training.

I started my career with them. Had my training then progressed to being a staff nurse.

But I'm not with them anymore since last year.
