batman!! try home health office work..

bl lvn,i am considering that too..Thanks!:)

question, can i change employer while in tpapn and doesnt not need to start again with narcotic restrictions ?

batman- i would direct this question to your case manager- just to make sure you have the right info. you should be able to change jobs, with no changes in your current TPAPN status, as long as the new employer is on board. personally, i didn't want to go through finding another job, etc while on TPAPN- just stuck with the first one. but i don't know of any reason why you can't change jobs if you want to, & you can find another job willing to hire you. best of luck!!

@ TXRN2,it would take forever for my CM to call me back.:( and my advocate has limited info on Tpapn.but yes,I will take your advice ..thank you and have a great day!

@ TXRN2, i have 2 months 2weeks and 5 days to go! i celebrate 2 years of sobriety on feb 5th... i can not wait for this much needed lesson to be over!!

@ bl lvn- heartfelt congratulations on your 2 years of blessed sobriety!! what a wonderful accomplishment!! & finishing TPAPN just around the corner- another awesome accomplishment- & one you will be very glad to be through with! good luck & God bless!!

Hi, I'm in LA. Don't know too much about TPAPN, but all programs are just about the same. I have had a few abnormal test results due to overdiluted urine. My CM suggested that I test upon first void, which is impossible! When I arise in the morning, I head straight to the bathroom! If I'm required to test, I drink lots of water or coffee (due to a shy bladder). Any suggestions???

@ iisonu I have been in ur shoes! becare full though cause u are only allowed no more than 2 dilute urine specimens cause the third one is considered a positive test also they will require you to get a renal evaluation to make sure ur kidneys are working fine. I know cause I went through that and I wanted to pull out all my hair!! you are pretty much in control of ur future u need to do what they say! pretty much bend over backwards for this program cause they can and will restart ur 2 years or refer ur case over to the nursing board. I wake up early to check to see if I got selected and I literally hold my pee until I get to the lab first thing in the morning to give a specimen, to ensure no dilute test.. if u have any questions ask and I'll answer them as best as I can.. goodluck

I too have had a problem with a shy bladder. I have never had a complaint of dilute urine but I know for a fact that at least one time my urine had too be diluted because it was almost clear. After that I actually started to pay attention to how my body worked. After my first void, I noted how long it took before I had to pee again. I kept track for a day of how long it would take before I had to pee again. I drank the way I always do and didn't change anything. After that I was basically able to calculate when I would need to urinate. Also, I take my phone with me and look up a waterfall on youtube while I am waiting at the facility. It actually helps.

I tried to hold myself once and almost had an accident! I actually went before they called my name, because I couldn't wait any longer. I ended up staying at the testing site for 2 hours, drank 3 cups of water, and my test still came back abnormal! This is so embarassing:( and seems to be a violation of our bodies! I pray for the day that this will all be a memory of the past!! Thanks so much for your response!
