Tpapn hair follicle testing

Published

Does tpapn do hair follicle testing? Haven't heard of them doing it but it seems other states do and it would be very expensive I'm sure. Just curious. If anyone knows if they do let me know. Thank you

Ask your advocate.

When I signed my original contract several years ago it stated urine and blood but I have read the new contracts they have updated with the 3 year limit not 2 and there are several changes and it says something like any type of speciem can be requested so read your contract that's where you will get the answer or ask your case manager.

On page 11 of your handbook #6 states urine, blood, hair, nails

I personally love the idea of hair testing. Don't have to worry about false positive!

Right? I can switch from UAs to hair follicle after one year in my contract. I am super excited!

Twoyearnurse, how do you switch to hair follicle testing? Do you just request it from your case manager?

I havnt switched yet, in my state we have to option to request it after a year of UAs. I intend on that! It means testing once every three months rather than stressing about check ins, and I can plan on budgeting for that which will be a huge relief!

And yes, after that year mark I send a request to my monitoring agent and it gets out before my board.

They do perform this test and it's not at all expensive in comparison of the different methods. They can at any time request this test conversely so can you.
