Well, I sent in the deposit this past week, but I haven't gotten my acceptance (or rejection) from the university. I submitted my application just before the deadline, so it's my own fault, I just hope I didn't shoot myself in the foot! This is worse than waiting for the nursing school acceptance.

I was told that being admitted to the nursing program pretty much meant you would get accepted to the college itself. I am sure you don't have anything to worry about! afowler77

I sure hope so! I also was told that, in order for them to accept my CLEP for EN101 with essay, that I passed, I STILL have to write two essays and pay $30/credit ($90 total!) Really? I need to talk to them, because I passed EN101 with an A, at Montgomery College, but that credit doesn't transfer (most in-state schools require EN101 & 102 from MC and they only transfer as EN101.) So, for Frederick Community College, I took the CLEP test, with essay, and passed. I did really well. Then I took EN 102 at FCC and passed with an A. I can't understand why this won't transfer smoothly. I used to love writing, but now science is my true love. I'm just grumpy because I don't want to write essays for English anymore. Now, if I could do some technical writing, or a textbook, or an S.O.P., I'd be delighted, but an essay? I shudder! Will I ever be able to get away from English? I thought I put it behind me. Ok, enough complaining! Time to move on. Thanks for listening to me grouse!

I got my acceptance to Towson University today! Now I am truly IN! UMSON was just a little too slow on the draw. Now to move on to the other tasks on the checklist!

Was anyone able to find the class schedule for Towson campus? I feel like I am missing something! Also when is the orientation? Am I not looking in the right places?

I was trying to look at the class schedule on the website and there are definitely several sections for the classes necessary for the next semester. Do we get to pick the sections? Or are we assigned those?

Also, does anyone know if any classes can be taken during the summer? Is there any way to finish the program in a shorter time?
