Hey is anyone else applying for Towson's Spring 2016 program? I take the TEAS V next week and hope to score at least an 85. My advisor said that it's a really competitive program and I should shoot for an 85 if I want to stand a chance at getting accepted. Ahh I'm freaking out a little!
I had straight As & one B for Chemistry. My TEAS was upper 80s. I think one of the missions of the Hagerstown program is that it is meant to provide higher education options for people in Western Maryland. It has a focus on rural health with the goal that graduates stay in the area because there is a shortage of medical professionals. This is only speculative but it could be that students from this region are considered first. Perhaps this is why people from Baltimore metro area haven't received letters yet. Hood College just started a RN program but outside of that the only options in western MD are at the community colleges or going to GWU in Loudon or Shepherd University in WV.
I just received my acceptance letter into the Hagerstown cohort! Check your mailboxes!
Congrats on your acceptance! I haven't gotten mines yet, but it's reasonable since I'm 1 and a half hours away from Towson. I've been checking my mail every day this week so I'm hoping a surprise for tomorrow or Monday
@TUhopefull Thanks! I actually live pretty far from Towson, it's around 1 and half hours away.
@Rosie43 Congrats on your acceptance! I hope we can get notifications from UMSON very soon. Since the acceptance statement is due Nov 9, I'm really hoping to get a notification from UMSON before then. I don't wanna pay fees and then found out I was accepted to UMSON D: But most likely, I will tho

Where do you live? Some others were wondering how long the mail takes to get to different areas? I don't know about wait listing but you may want to look at the threads from prior admission rounds. I think I saw one for 2015. You may find some other posts from people who got wait listed & then moved up into the cohort. Good luck!
