Towson Nursing Spring 2016

Hey is anyone else applying for Towson's Spring 2016 program? I take the TEAS V next week and hope to score at least an 85. My advisor said that it's a really competitive program and I should shoot for an 85 if I want to stand a chance at getting accepted. Ahh I'm freaking out a little! :unsure:

Does anyone know if Towson takes volunteer hours into consideration when applying?

Considering the application for the nursing program, I would say that your TEAS score, your prerequisite GPA, and your overall GPA is what's most important when applying. They don't ask for a resume where you can explain your work/volunteer experience.

For everyone who has applied to the program, have you gotten the email where it says that your application is in, and what would be missing, if anything? Sorry, I may not be saying that right.... but when I applied, they said that we would eventually get an email where we can log into the interface where you can see your application status, and all the documents that have been successfully delivered?

Just anxious over here, and was wondering when we would get that log in information! :)

I know that we will find out if we were accepted via mail, this was just the log in for the status of all the documents. Just seeing if anyone has that access yet.

I spoke to Mrs.Necker to see if she had received my TEAS score, and she said we all would be receiving emails when our applications are done being processed. She didn't mention being able to log in to see if everything was accepted, but that would be great. I haven't received anything yet.

I called yesterday to get an estimate of time to wait for that email, they didn't really answer, haha. But to clarify, I know that if/when we are accepted, we will get a letter, and should not know via the log in. I know that the log in is supposed to be a compilation of all the materials that were turned in. Although it seems a little late now... but when I brought my application and materials in, they told me that the purpose of that log in is to make sure that you had everything, in fact, there and that it was received. That seems a little moot now, since we are well past the time where materials needed to be received.

I guess I should not be concerned at all... but it IS so stressful!

So everything should eventually be finalized and we should all be getting an email soon!

Has anyone got confirmation that all of their application materials were received yet? I'm so anxious, October is coming so quickly!

I followed up with Ms.Necker with endless emails making sure all my materials were received lol. She did say that I will be getting another email when she completes the processing of my application but it has been weeks now and I haven't gotten an email about it yet. Hopefully we get to hear from her soon, just one more month you guys!

I also called, but was told that if i did NOT receive an email that all of required documents WERE received.

I did receive those proper emails, and all of my materials were received. Also got my acceptance letter in Towson for the Spring, so now all I need is the nursing letter!!!! October cannot get here soon enough!

I recently got an email from Ms. Lakiesha Mixon a few days ago telling me that my application is complete and ready for review. So now all that's left is the waiting. Ahh the anticipation is killing me

I received the same letter and its making the wait even harder lol! I hope they send them out early rather then the end of October. I've already received an email saying I needed to meet with my advisor to register for my Spring classes, but can't do it until I find out if I'm in the program or not.

I just got the mail from Towson on my acceptance to the university itself. It came by quicker than I expected since I turned in my application just a week ago. Im hoping the nursing letter comes in ASAP because the deadline for the enrollment fee is Nov. 2. I also applied to UMSON but that letter doesn't come in until probably around November T.T So if I get Towson's acceptance to the nursing program, I would definitely still pay to save the seat just in case. I'll just be pretty much broke after all of this :( lol
