  1. Yes I did get accepted! I had a 3.7 overall GPA, 4.0 for science, and 87 on the TEAS.
  2. Did anyone order uniforms yet? How long did they take to come and how was the sizing?
  3. @tflores They actually do apartment tours with the school also. So you could potentially meet your roommate then!
  4. Sorry for the delay, but yes I attend Towson now. I just transferred in this semester, and I commute there everyday. But I only live about 15mins aways on a good day. Its a pretty nice campus, somewhat diverse student population, teachers are pretty understanding, and they have alot of services geared towards the students. I would definitely recommend that you come visit lol. And if you decide to live off campus there are apartments literally across the street from the school if you want to be close but still have your privacy/quietness.
  5. I unfortunately will have to work full time while attending and I'm scared. I'm hoping I find a hospital or nursing home that allows me to do doubles on the weekend so that I don't have to work during the week.
  6. I'm not sure what day the letter came exactly, but I know it arrived this week. I GOT IN!!! I screamed when I opened the letter!! Can't wait to see you all in the spring!
  7. Nope still nothing here. I hope they come out this week so I can meet with my advisor asap. I don't want to feel rushed signing up for next semester's classes.
  8. I received the same letter and its making the wait even harder lol! I hope they send them out early rather then the end of October. I've already received an email saying I needed to meet with my advisor to register for my Spring classes, but can't do it until I find out if I'm in the program or not.
  9. Has anyone got confirmation that all of their application materials were received yet? I'm so anxious, October is coming so quickly!
  10. I spoke to Mrs.Necker to see if she had received my TEAS score, and she said we all would be receiving emails when our applications are done being processed. She didn't mention being able to log in to see if everything was accepted, but that would be great. I haven't received anything yet.
  11. @TFlores Awesome score! Hopefully we'll be seeing everyone on this thread at orientation in the Spring. I transferred into Towson for the nursing program! This fall will me my first semester there. @Murse27 No problem, hope you get in Fall 2016!
  12. Yayyy!! Good luck to you as well!! I hate that we have to wait until October to find out I'm gonna go crazy lol!!!
  13. Hey! What are you using to study for the test? I used a variety of things, including a post from this site. First, I took the ATI practice test to see what I knew and to get an idea of what the test was like! Then I studied what I got wrong/didn't know from the focused review provided by ATI and this https://allnurses.com/teas-exam-help/how-i-passed-804222.html page. ATI also provides a focused review after you complete the actual exam, so you can use that if you don't want to buy the practice test. Additionally, I used the ATI exam guide, https://www.khanacademy.org/ (for the science section),https://www.youtube.com/user/crashcourse (also for the science portion), and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gk2kmNeGtwc. The last link is a teacher on Youtube who goes through each page of the math section of the ATI exam guide. The combination of all of these really did help me! If you only decide to check out one I definitely say Youtube, just type in whatever ATI says you need to focus on! Also don't study any one section to deeply when it comes to the science section, that was one of my regrets. I focused to much on anatomy & physiology when I should have just did a quick refresher.
  14. Update. I took my TEAS and scored an 87! I felt like I was doing horrible during the entire test, and ran out of time during the math. However I was pleasantly surprised by my results. I hope thats good enough to get me in! The dreaded wait until October begins! Is anyone else applying for Spring 2016?
  15. Hey is anyone else applying for Towson's Spring 2016 program? I take the TEAS V next week and hope to score at least an 85. My advisor said that it's a really competitive program and I should shoot for an 85 if I want to stand a chance at getting accepted. Ahh I'm freaking out a little!
