So I go to a appointment with my physician today and during the nurse portion of the visit the nurses said I was due for my tetenus and that there was also an order for a shingles vaccine. So after receiving a rather good natured scolding about my 3 three auto Immune diagnoses I got a duble wammy one in each arm. Got the Covid taken care of over a month ago and I am certified to administer any of the covid vaccines.

Congratulations!
Any side effects?
I got Shringrix in fall of 2019 right before Covid hit. The pharmacist did a very thorough job telling me that many people have side effects from it.
I've NEVER had any side effect from any vaccine. I don't even get a sore arm. I was really confident that I wouldn't even notice the Shringrix vax.
By 6 that evening I was so tired I couldn't keep my eyes open. I went to bed and woke up 18 hours later. The second dose was the same. I didn't feel bad - just incredibly sleepy. I figure that means the shot was really effective!
TDaP is on my to do list now.
Don't you feel good knowing you have done something to keep you healthy. Getting a vax makes me feel the same way as when I've worked out - yay me!
Well I am on the dark side of 50 and closing in on 60. I do what I can!

I am vaxxed, too. I want to be able to spend time with my brand new grandson so you BET I am thoroughly vaxxed, to include COVID. I care about his wellbeing! (and my own too)

Got my 2 Shringrix vaxxines in 2019: left arm pain, soreness and difficulty raising arm for >2 months--worse side effects of any vaccine received BUT 100% better than shingles neuropathy.
