Torrance Memorial new grad

Hello ? looking for more information and insight on the Torrance Memorial New Grad program. Those that have started or gone through this program, how has your experience been?

Can someone who has worked there or is still working there share their thought about this hospital please.

Any insight is truly appreciated. Thank you!

Oh mine also changed to in process! Hopefully we get some sort of notification. I called last Thursday and was told they are making final decisions by Friday and if we didn't get it, we would get an email, and if we did we'd get a call.

A friend of mine who applied years ago had a status update of "Not Selected". So having our applications opened up again after being closed may be a good sign, since applications did in fact close for further candidates which allows to finalize their pool. The last new grad job posting was also taken down, so they are indeed working on it. I'm hopeful for everyone on here. ❤️

Hi everyone, I've been lurking without an account for a bit. I interviewed with 2 different units. Interview #1 was an interview where multiple people were invited, and the interview was first come first serve. Interview #2 (my dream unit) involved 2 interviews, the 1st being over zoom and the 2nd being in person. I was accepted to the unit in interview #2 shortly after the interview. Later, when I checked my jobvite portal, the unit from interview #1 stated "Not Selected" next to it. All that to say that as long as it doesn't have "Not Selected," it means you're still in the running. Good luck, I'm sending y'all positive vibes!

Thank you for sharing ? I wish I had chance to interview with medsurg but I only did with burn ICU. I am hoping to hear back from medsurg but most likely also will take any ICU positions.

I personally want to stay in Socal as much as possible but if my interviews from northern cali goes well I might have to pack my stuff and flee for at least 2-3 years LOL. Currently did interview with Stanford and UCSF. I got rejected from Stanford, and made final to UCSF.

Any updates are appreciated guys and lets not lose hopes ?

I talked to HR and they said that by this Friday we should be getting an email or a phone call.

Thank you, Denden. I think it's a great idea I schedule a foot massage or some steam facial to help with the anticipation here. ?

That's actually smart idea! I need some of those treatments for my anxiety haha
