I just wanted to start a thread for Torrance Memorial's Residency. I recently applied. Has anyone heard anything yet?

Same. Nope haven't heard anything. I wonder when's a good time to start calling HR to follow up

Talked to someone in HR. Doesn't seem like they're close to being done finalizing everything or having the candidates picked out.

Hopefully we hear today! It's hard cus it sounds like they told a few of us we'd find out by this week so hopefully they keep to their word

I don't think I want to call her anymore lol she sounded stressed on the phone. All she told me was that they're still putting thing together and She hasn't heard of any updates. I asked her if she possibly had a timeline of when she'd start calling people and she said she wish she had info but she doesn't and said it could take a couple weeks just because a lot of the candidates are not licensed/haven't taken nclex.

It sounds like they told you guys different for the med surg interviews though so hopefully you hear soon. The vagueness is probably just for the specialties because I asked my friend who interviewed for oncology and another friend who interviewed for burn ICU and both were told "in the next couple of weeks" with the same reason of the BRN being backed up

oh boy oh boy lol thank you for the updates :) i guess it does make sense for the specialties...maybe i'll call since i interviewed med/surg and see if i hear anything different
