Torrance Memorial New Grad Program Aug 2016

I just wanted to start a thread for Torrance Memorial's Residency. I recently applied. Has anyone heard anything yet?

Soooo I called to try to follow up and they asked me what unit I interviewed for and the person said that she thought they already made offers for that unit but she's not sure and will call me back. So I'm not sure if they've already made calls but it seems like they started

I tried calling Michele this morning but she's out of the office the 8th-15th

Yeah I tried too. But then I just called the main HR number and talked to whoever answered and she seemed to know what's going on with the program

That's what she told me when I called them today, but she never called me back. Did she call you back?

I wonder if they decided to go ahead with the original start date after all? There's not a lot of time left to do pre-employment stuff between now and the 29th. But I'm still trying to be optimistic :)

Where did it say that the program starts on Aug 29th?

It said in the online application and the description of the program when it was up. But they mentioned in interviews that they were thinking of prolonging the start date because a lot of candidates are affected by the board being backed up. Has anyone called HR and actually received a solid answer to any updates on their app?

I just called HR again, she said they were starting in September and she believed offers had already gone out.

Really? Aww. I wish they told us if we didn't get it as well rather than leave us hanging.

Same. I was told at the interview that we would hear back either way. A rejection email would be nice!
